Outreach: Women in Computing

An Interdisciplinary Approach to Increase Interest in Information Technology through an Environmental Project

This project is designed to engage students, especially female and underrepresented groups, through teamwork, problem-based learning, and a socially relevant topic to cultivate an interest in IT. Members of this project will include females acting as intentional role models and mentoring for students and teachers. The proposed, two-semester project will have a direct impact on students at Claremont High School.
