Nathan, Elinor Hirschfield

With a background of acting lessons during childhood in Duluth, Minnesota Elinor Nathan began in 1929 to gain experience on the stage in New York City. She started in to work in radio in Chicago and then moved to California soap operas. She was a member of the cast of the Amos n' Andy radio show. She discusses the organization of AFRA [American Federation of Radio Artists]. Elinor Nathan served on the Beverly Hills School Board and in the early 1970s was appointed to the Board of Trustees of Pitzer College.
